Location: Bedford, Ohio Position: Full-Time, Hourly Industry: Automotive Jay Auto Buick GMC is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to become a key member of our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles of all makes and models
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about vehicle concerns and necessary repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly cared for
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in every aspect of your work
• Stay up-to-date on new automotive technologies through training and development programs

What We Need from You:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• ASE certifications (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
