Carpet Cleaning Technician Job Summary
Use truck mount or portable cleaning equipment and tools to perform professional carpet, upholstery, tile and floor cleaning services. Assist in retaining customers by providing high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction through the timely and effective delivery of cleaning services.

*MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE*

Carpet Cleaning Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently perform carpet, upholstery, tile and floor cleaning services.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Offer customers additional services and products to achieve high ticket average.
• Inspect completed work and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Solicit positive customer reviews.
• Perform daily equipment and vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance including cleaning filters, emptying water tanks, etc.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Wear company-required attire and maintain professional appearance at all times to adequately represent company.

Carpet Cleaning Technician Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED). 1+ yrs. carpet-cleaning or specialized experience preferred (i.e. stripping & waxing commercial flooring, tile & grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, etc.)
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills; determine correct pricing for services.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, portable devices and software used to schedule, invoice, and record daily activity.
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: IICRC certification - Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) - highly desired , but not required.
