Key responsibilities may include:

• Process development:
  Assisting in designing and optimizing chemical production processes, including calculations for equipment sizing and flow rates.
• Laboratory work:
  Conducting experiments to test new chemical reactions, analyze samples, and gather data for process improvement.
• Data analysis:
  Interpreting experimental results, generating reports, and identifying trends to inform process optimization.
• Safety compliance:
  Contributing to the development and implementation of safety procedures for handling hazardous chemicals.
• Technical documentation:
  Preparing technical reports, process flow diagrams, and design specifications.
• Production support:
  Monitoring production processes, identifying potential issues, and troubleshooting operational problems.
• Cost analysis:
  Assisting in evaluating production costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaboration:
  Working with other engineers, technicians, and production personnel to ensure smooth operation.

Required skills:

• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction kinetics
• Proficiency in data analysis and mathematical modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and technical information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills including process simulation software
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and safety protocols

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
