Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temp to hire opportunity for a Chemical Lab Analyst near Toledo, OH!
\n
\n Shift: 2nd OR 3rd
\n A Temp to Hire Opportunity
\nPay: $24-$27/hour, depending on experience
\n
\n Essential Duties: \n

\n\t
• Performs laboratory functions for daily production as well as R&D tasks.\n\t
• Performs chemical analysis in a laboratory environment.\n\t
• Assists in other laboratory functions, such as sample preparation and other material processing operations as needed.\n\t
• Performs minor equipment preventative maintenance, as needed.\n\t
• Provides process analysis in a group laboratory environment.\n\t
• Performs data entry of analysis results and maintains testing database(s).\n\t
• Performs other duties as assigned.\n

\n Education and Experience Requirements: \n\n

\n\t
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College experience in relevant technical areas (mathematics, chemistry, material science, any engineering discipline) is helpful.\n\t
• Prior laboratory experience in chemical analysis, safe chemical handling, and general knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus but is not required.\n\t
• Some exposure to ISO 17025 Quality System is helpful.\n\t
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude, be highly analytical with acceptable writing and record-keeping skills.\n\t
• Must be computer literate and have excellent interpersonal skills.\n\t
• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.\n\t
• Must be willing to work either 2nd or 3rd shifts. Must be willing to work overtime and/or 12 hour shifts as needed to provide additional lab coverage.\n\t
• Practical knowledge of PC functions (Excel and Word).\n
