Copywriter
The Copywriter creates persuasive, clear copy that drives action across all marketing channels. This role focuses on writing high-quality, conversion-focused copy for sales materials, marketing campaigns, and corporate communications. Success in this role means consistently delivering clean, compelling writing that achieves business objectives while maintaining compliance standards.
The copywriter will deliver accuracy, coupled with the ability to manage production speed and volume. The ideal candidate will consistently adhere to deadlines, produce error-free copy, and demonstrate effective team collaboration to meet and exceed project goals.
Essential Responsibilities for the Copywriter
Direct Writing Production
Write sales-focused marketing materials that effectively promote products and services.
Create content to support loan officers in their customer interactions and daily tasks.
Draft corporate communications for internal and external audiences.
Write copy for websites and digital platforms to engage and inform online audiences.
Develop email campaigns that target specific customer segments..
Write recruitment materials to attract and inform potential job candidates about opportunities within the company.
Writing Support
Edit and proofread content
Format documents to ensure they meet company standards and are easily accessible.
Update existing materials to reflect the latest information and company developments.
Maintain the copy library, ensuring all resources are organized and readily available for use.
Administrative
Attend team meetings to collaborate with colleagues and stay informed on project updates.
Manage writing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Track projects to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Handle file management to keep documents organized and accessible.

Minimum Qualifications for the Copywriter
Education:
Will consider a combination of a HS diploma and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred in related fields such as: marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, journalism, OR English.
Experience and/or Training:
2-3 years of professional writing experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications for the Copywriter
3+ years of related experience
Possesses a strong portfolio that showcases expertise and creativity.
Brings valuable experience in the financial services industry, understanding its unique demands and nuances.
Has a solid background in corporate communications, demonstrating the ability to craft clear and impactful messaging.
Experienced in working within regulated industries, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines.
