MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team for a paid internship. This role offers real-world exposure to accounting operations, financial systems, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions while learning key finance processes and tools.

What You'll Gain:

• Exposure to ERP systems including IQMS and Excel-based reporting
• Experience with AP/AR processing and invoice handling
• Understanding of general ledger accounts and financial audits
• Practical involvement in financial scorecard tracking and vendor setup
• Mentorship from experienced finance professionals

What you will do:

• Support Finance departments digitization project (Scanning critical accounting records into digital filing system)
• Assist the CFO with the cycle counting process
• Assist in processing of AP paperwork from completion to the check run
• Assist in processing AR invoicing paperwork for US Component Products
• Audit, enter and file all freight supplier invoices
• Manage all customer and supplier files
• Coordinate with other US locations to ensure AR and AP paperwork is received timely
• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics as needed
• Support other accounting projects, as necessary

What we're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or business operations
