Position Overview
Ottawa TFC is seeking a Game Day Manager to oversee the organization and execution of OPDL match days. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and passionate about soccer, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth and professional experience for players, coaches, referees, and spectators.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee all logistical aspects of OPDL game days.
Set up and take down field equipment (benches, tents, signage, match balls, etc.).
Ensure compliance with OPDL match day protocols and league regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for teams, referees, and match officials.
Manage game sheets, player verification, and reporting processes.
Monitor weather conditions and communicate any necessary adjustments.
Assist with crowd control, safety measures, and overall match day experience.
Provide post-game reports and feedback to the club’s technical staff.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and remain composed in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with soccer operations, rules, and OPDL standards (preferred but not required).
Ability to lift and carry field equipment.
Access to reliable transportation.
Availability on weekends (primarily Saturdays and Sundays).
