PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of Sherex Team. As the Marketing Intern at PennEngineering, you’ll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: This internship is an excellent opportunity for a college student seeking credit and pay during the summer semester while gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing, tradeshow marketing, graphic design, and content development. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a passion for creative storytelling, branding, and design.

• Content Development: Assist in creating, editing, and curating engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email campaigns, blogs, and websites.
• Graphic Design: Design eye-catching visuals for marketing materials such as social media posts, flyers, banners, presentations, and advertisements using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Social Media Management: Schedule and monitor posts LinkedIn posts and develop strategies in other social media platforms to attract customers and engage with audiences and analyze performance metrics to enhance social media presence.
• Marketing Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns.
• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform content and design strategies.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs and content align with the company's brand guidelines and messaging.
• Event Support: Assist in planning and promoting events, including creating promotional materials and managing logistics.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible for internship credit.
• Background or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.
• Basic understanding of HTML and website management platforms like WordPress or Squarespace.
