Insight Global is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Urgent Care for a job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with a background in urgent care and emergency medicine to join our dynamic team. This APP will be rotating every other week between our West Asheville and Weaverville locations. Responsibilities: Provide urgent care and emergency medical services to patients of all ages. Perform procedures including suturing and I&Ds. Manage an average of 30 patients per day at our West Asheville and Weaverville locations. Collaborate with physicians who are available remotely and sometimes onsite. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine Strong procedural skills, specifically with sutures and I&Ds Licensed to practice in North Carolina as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant. Ability to handle a high volume of patients Preferred Skills: Strong procedural skills. PALS certification. DOT certification. North Carolina license. Proficiency with Athena EMR. Friendly and patient-focused demeanor. Reliability and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
