I launched For Your Own Good with a clear vision: to build one of the top podcasts in the world. This isn’t just another show—I’m traveling to different cities every month, bringing my full production setup, and sitting down with incredible guests to create something truly special.

Now, I’m looking for a Podcast Production Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and gain real-world experience in podcasting, content production, and social media strategy. You don’t need to know everything—but you do need to be hungry to learn, take initiative, and be excited about creating high-quality, impactful content.

This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience in all aspects of podcast production—filming, editing, set design, social media strategy, and more. You’ll work closely with me, my assistant, and our editor, contributing to a fast-growing, high-energy creative environment.

Job Responsibilities

As the Podcast Production Intern of For Your Own Good , you will take full ownership of the production, distribution, and growth of the podcast across all platforms. Your key responsibilities include:

Podcast Production & Content Creation

• Oversee the production and distribution of three high-quality video podcast episodes per week across all platforms.
• Write SEO-optimized, clickable titles and descriptions to maximize reach and engagement.
• Manage and collaborate with editors, clippers, and a support team to maintain a seamless workflow.
• Capture high-quality videography for both long-form and short-form content.

Growth & Strategy

• Develop and implement systems and processes to consistently create high-performing, viral content.
• Source and lead editors, videographers, and a thumbnail team to scale content production.
• Identify and test the best hooks, clips, shorts, and reels to maximize engagement.
• Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure continuous growth.
• Optimize content strategy to leverage each platform for maximum growth and engagement.

Production & Event Execution

• Oversee set and lighting design to ensure a polished, professional look.
• Support and coordinate in-person podcasting events in various cities.
• Perform final review and approval of all distributed content to maintain quality and brand consistency.
