As lead Technical Director you will serve as the primary support system for our clients and our team. Showcore designs and executes hundreds of live event projects each year, all around the world. Showcores team ensures that clients receive outstanding customer service through the design, development, and onsite execution of their live events. Having the ability to understand how to lead and interpret the client’s vision while supporting their event goals is critical. You will be responsible for leading onsite show activities that align with promised event outcomes. You must be confident in your abilities to communicate with clients, leading crews, and problem solve in a dynamic production and creative environment. You will be part of a team providing technical and creative production solutions for multiple projects with multiple clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of onsite projects
• Support the development, design, and logistics of technical execution
• Support client facing pitches and sales team objectives for new and existing business
• Ensure all technical, crew, and client details have been addressed throughout the project
• Provide creative direction, execution, and design solutions for large-scale events
• Operate as an onsite client facing lead or supporting the production in a technical operator role
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and filed appropriately
• Manage multiple projects at one time
• Manage onsite safety and wellness standards
• Manage technical troubleshooting with solutions focused outcomes
• Travel (sometimes for extended periods of time)
• Manage and build ongoing relationships with existing and new clients and crews
• Work alongside some of the best live event professionals in the industry
• Understand and cater to different personality types and client objectives
• Anticipate client needs before they arise
• Maintain quality standards under pressure
• Lead load-in and load-out processes
