Marketing Manager - Gaming & Developer Tech

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to take the lead in growing the presence of an innovative backend game engine, along with related services, designed to support live-service games.
You'll be the key point of contact, executing marketing strategies alongside the GM and collaborating with leadership across product, sales, and developer relations. What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and manage the marketing strategy for a backend game engine, targeting mid-to-large game studios.
Oversee and optimize the marketing funnel to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer trials.
Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (blog, email, social media, Discord, etc.).
Conduct competitive research and analyze customer insights to refine positioning in the game tech ecosystem.
Product & Developer Marketing
Translate complex technical features into compelling messaging for game developers and publishers.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to create marketing assets, including tutorials, case studies, and success stories.
Develop sales enablement materials that support go-to-market efforts.
Events, PR, & Community Engagement
Plan and manage participation in industry events such as GDC, Gamescom, and OSS (travel required).
Work with PR agencies to develop press communications.
Manage co-marketing efforts with game studios, tech partners, and industry influencers.
Oversee communications and updates for the developer community.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in gaming, game technology, SaaS, or developer tools.
Strong understanding of the gaming industry and experience marketing to developers, publishers, and studio teams.
Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns, including demand generation strategies.
Experience translating technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and developer relations teams.
Familiarity with marketing tools like HubSpot, web CMSs, social media platforms, Discord, and Canva.
Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and initiative.
